The reality is that both health and  illness are the result of cumulative and interrelated lifestyle choices. Everyday you are either building health or building sickness (see the second law of thermodynamics). Regaining and/or maintaining vibrant health requires an eagerness to learn and a commitment to a journey. Most people who are not experiencing great health are not in their situation because they lack the will to be well. More likely is that their current knowledge and overall health strategy is missing vital, often overlooked components.

Our goal is to help you both understand and implement strategies dealing with the interrelated facets of health that bring about wellness. We aim to do this through both our free health education classes, and our one-on-one consultations and training. Check out our Services for more details.

  • Mind - Your mental outlook will make or break the results you have in every area of life. While a positive, hopeful outlook will pull you toward your goals, negativity can short circuit just about any positive measure you take in life. If the mind is not right the body will not change.

  • Diet - Eat to live. Food is a combination of powerful chemicals and every cell of your body is built by the molecules of food you have eaten. It is usually what people don't know about food and how it affects them that ultimately sets them up for failure. If you don't have the resources to build healthy cells you won't have health, period. In short, empty calories (industrial foods), rob the body of its own valuable resources while leaving the body looking for more nourishment, which usually leads to higher than optimal calorie consumption.

  • Holistic Healthcare - Holistic Healthcare is about finding wellness professionals that understand and address the totality of who you are, and that focus on empowering your body to heal itself instead of masking your symptoms. Examples of Holistic Healthcare include Chiropractic, Acupuncture, Massage, Rolfing, Naturopathy, Osteopathy, Muscle Activation Techniques, Nutrition and Cleanse Counseling, Lifestyle Counseling and others. Each of these disciplines has its merits, and one or more of them may produce just the synergy you need.

  • Sleep - Nothing replaces sleep. Nothing. Sleep is the time when the body does most of its repair work as well as integrating what it has learned throughout the day. Deep sleep is also one of only two times when your body makes HGH, your body's most powerful fat-burning, youth-promoting hormone.

  • Stress Management - Stress kills. Not only does stress send a signal to your body to store fat (especially visceral fat), it also runs your engine hard thereby depleting your body's resources and leading to premature aging and a host of disease processes. Finding balance and limiting various forms of stress is critical to changing your body.

  • Exercise - Nothing demonstrates the adaptability of the human body like regular exercise, and nothing replaces this all important health measure. Done properly, exercise can improve the health of every system in your body. We were made for motion. When it comes to improving your body with exercise, regularity and intensity are the two major factors.
